On October 4, Morra Aarons-Mele, Christine Koh, Whitney Johnson, and Roxanna Sarmiento hosted Pivot Boston, an event designed to help attendees network, and explore change and growing one’s career in the social media age.

Sold out to 120 attendees and with an overflowing wait list, the event featured speakers Heather Coughlin (Isis Parenting), Christine Koh, Karen Rubin (HubSpot), Roxanna Sarmiento, Leslie Graff, Whitney Johnson, and Morra Aarons-Mele. Funds raised via the $10 admission fee were donated in entirety to the YWCA Boston.

Pivot Boston exceeded the expectations of its organizers. Following descriptions such as “…the best networking event I’ve been to in Boston,” “fun and inspirational,” and simply “AWESOME,” the team is already brainstorming about Pivot 2 in 2012.
